Tallhöjdens Värdshus was built by the well known Sture G. Ohlsson, who was born in Malmö in 1904. He was a successful businessman and as well as the hotel, which he built 1967, had a furniture factory, an interior- design shop and a men's clothes shop. He was a also big importer of wood, especially teak.
Apart from his business, Sture G Olsson's big passion was travelling, and during his busy and active life he found time to visit about 60 different countries. He brought home many objets d'art from every corner of the earth and these now adorn the inn.
After Sture's death in 1983, his son took over Tallhöjdens Värdshus for about 20 years.
